Mount Oros dominates the island but has few ports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>The most famous monument is the temple of Aphaia, which with the temples of Parthenon and Sounion, forms a sacred triangle.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span>Aegina was the capital of Greece in 1828-1829. The island is the main producer of pistachios from Greece.
