Skinos means mastiha in ancient Greek. The underwater volcanoes, the mild climate and soil of the Mediterranean island of Chios, along with a tradition deeply rooted in cultivation and harvesting, make the world of mastiha unique.
From 600 BC. BC, mastiha travelled to Genoa, Istanbul, Athens and around the world as an excellent digestif.
Today, Skinos follows the same traditional harvesting and distillation process and creates a unique product, ideal for drinking cold before or after dinner.
