This Greek semi-dry rosé wine produced in the Peloponnese and specifically in Malandreni, Argolis, comes from two French grape varieties, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. It is their combination that gives it this bright rose colour.
Its nose is rich aromatic with strong aromas of cherry, violet, rose and hints of red fruit jam. The mouth feel is exuberant, with hints of sour cherry and strawberry. Its aftertaste is refreshing, with lasting sweetness.
Obviously ideal as an aperitif, you can serve it with fish and pasta accompanied by mild sauces, with chicken, pizzas but also "saganaki" shrimps and the main Greek and Mediterranean recipes. It also combines very well with Asian cuisine and its sweet and spicy sauces!
