Amethystos, red wine, PGI Drama 750ml

The Amethystos red wine of Domaine Costa Lazaridi is a purple-red wine with a bright dense colour and fruity aromas combined with aromas of red forest fruits, cherry jam and spices.

In taste it is warm and full at the first contact, while then it unfolds the richness, the structure and the gentle harmonious tannins. It has a long aftertaste with notes of fruit and spices.

The wine is aged for twelve months in French oak barrels, about 25% of which are renewed every year.

Combines perfectly with all red meats, while it goes perfectly with grilled lamb chops or lamb leg in the oven.

It is delicious with braised beef, pork, rabbit or with ripe soft cheeses like Brie and Camembert.
