Yellow dye for easter eggs
Dyeing eggs is one of the essential customs of Greek Easter !
Every Holy Thursday, in Greece, eggs are boiled and traditionally dyed red. In recent years, people dye the eggs in other colours like yellow, green and blue.
All that remains is to do egg fights on Easter Sunday: 2 participants each take an egg and beat it against the opponent's. The winner will be the one with the toughest egg!
