MISKO was founded in 1927 by the Michailidis and Konstantini families. From the moment the first pasta was made in the family workshop in Piraeus, until today, MISKO produces delicious and nutritious pasta.
In 1953 the new owners of the company are the Mantzika, Papanastasiou, Papachrysanthou and Theodoraki families. That year the production of pasta is transferred to Patras to the new facilities that for that time were very modern. It thus becomes the first company to package its pasta. At the same time, "Akakios" is born, the trademark of the company and perhaps the most famous Greek message ("Akakie, let the pasta be MISKO").
In 2000 a new state-of-the-art factory with a large production capacity is established in Eleonas, Thebes, while the company produces ready-made sauces, wholemeal pasta and creates the golden range of single-variety wheat.
