Kaseri is a traditional Greek yellow cheese with the "Protected Designation of Origin" (P.D.O.) mark.
It is made from pasteurized fresh sheep's milk, and has been produced by the "Kolios" cheese factory in Kilkis in a traditional way for 3 generations. It is a very aromatic cheese, with a wonderful, rich taste.
It perfectly accompanies fresh bread or Koulouri Thessalonikis, while you can use it to make sandwiches, saganaki cheese or add it to pies, omelettes, soufflés, gratins and pastitsio. Finally, it can accompany an aperitif with tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, breadsticks or paximadia (rusks) with a glass of ouzo or wine.
Store in the refrigerator at temperatures of 2°C-6°C.
