Mastiha is a natural resin of pistacia lentiscus var. Chia which grows only on the island of Chios in Greece. It is excreted in the etched parts of the trunk and the branches of the tree and runs down the ground like a tear. A constant flow of mastiha gives a large and rather soft tear. It has many beneficial properties and a variety of uses known since Antiquity.

The mastiha according to scientific research, has an antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and healing activity. In addition, it has beneficial effects on body hygiene and skin care.

These tears of pure Mastiha are 100% natural. You can use them for cooking, baking or just to chew them like chewing gum!
