Tsipouro Kanenas without anise
Tsipouro Kanenas is without anise and comes from marc of the white variety Malagouzia. It is the spirit drink equivalent to an eau-de-vie.
It is bright in appearance, with strong citrus aromas such as lemon and mandarin, violet floral aromas and botanical hints of sage. In the mouth, it is characterized by mild alcohol, fatty body, strong taste of dried apricot and lavender. The aftertaste is long and elegant with a strong presence of pepper.
Tsipouro goes perfectly with mezes and seafood appetizers such as octopus with vinegar, marinated anchovies, sardines, keftedakia, fava, snails, saganaki, with olives and breadsticks. It can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif or as a digestif, always fresh of course!
Alcohol abuse is dangerous for health. To consume with moderation.
