Ingredients

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar or cider vinegar
  • parsley
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 120 g rusks or wet bread
  • flour
  • olive oil for the pan

Utensils

  • 1 pan
  • 2 bowls
  • membrane film
  • paper towels

Making

1

Put the bread to soak in a bowl of water.

2

Put the minced meat and finely chopped onion in a bowl and add the drained bread.

3

Add olive oil, parsley, vinegar, salt and pepper and mix well.

4

When the preparation stops sticking to the hands, it is a sign that you can start preparing the meatballs. Take a bite and roll it between your hands to make a dumpling. Try to make meatballs about the same size.

5

Put flour in a deep plate. Then place a meatball inside, cover the flour completely and reserve it in another plate. Do the same for all the meatballs.

6

Once the meatballs have been made, place the plate in the fridge for at least 20 minutes. Heat the oil in the pan and pour a few meatballs until they have a nice colour.

7

Once cooked, place the meatballs on a plate covered with a paper towel.

You can taste these delicious meatballs either hot or cold. Serve them with tzatziki or yogurt dip and with pitas for souvlakia !

Enjoy your meal !
