Baked fish with tomato sauce is a simple recipe to make and especially if you want a healthy dinner. Even the children love this dish !

  • 1400 g white fish sliced or whole (as red mullet)
  • 2 chopped onions
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 4 medium chopped tomatoes
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • salt
  • pepper
  • chopped parsley
  • water


  • 1 baking dish
  • 1 frying pan



Cook the onions in half a cup of olive oil and a little water.


When cooked, add the tomatoes and a little parsley. Then salt and pepper. Simmer for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C.


Spread the sauce in a baking dish and arrange over the fish slices or the whole fish.


Sprinkle with the dry white wine and the rest of the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and bake at 190 ° C for about 40 minutes.


You can add green or black olives 5 minutes before the end of cooking, after desalting and draining.
