Tapenade with green olives from Chalkidiki

This homemade tapenade with green olives from Chalkidiki (Halkidiki) is ideal for your aperitifs all year round to spoil your family and friends!

It is a recipe compatible with vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free diets.

  • 1 olive pitter or a knife for pitting olives

First, pit the green olives from Chalkidiki using an olive pitting tool.

If you don’t have an olive pitter, you can also use a knife, but it will take a little longer.

Then peel the garlic cloves.

In the chopper, put the pitted Chalkidiki green olives, garlic cloves, organic thyme from Lefkada and Koroneiki olive oil then chop very well.

Pour the green olive tapenade in a bowl and serve it cold or at room temperature.

You can replace green olives with organic green olives from Chalkidiki!

Serve the tapenade with breadsticks, rusks (paximadia) and bread!
