Metaxa was created in Piraeus in 1888 by Spyros Metaxa, an avant-garde merchant in search of an amber liquor that offers unparalleled sweetness.
Metaxa 5 stars has been aged in oak barrels for at least 5 years to give it a luminous amber colour, a round body and a smooth taste with floral notes (orange blossoms, rose petals and apricot), vanilla and hints of white raisins. Often compared to cognac, Metaxa is an exceptional brandy with a unique and inimitable aroma!
