  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1.5 cup water
  • honey
  • cinnamon
  • olive oil

Utensils

  • 1 pan
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 sieve
  • 1 balloon whip

Making

1

Sift flour. Add the yeast and sugar, then stir with a spoon or balloon whip.

2

Add water and salt. Stir well until it is homogeneous. Cover with the film and let stand about 30 minutes.

3

Heat olive oil in a frying pan. Once hot, pour a few spoons into the pan, leaving a little space between each so that the tiganites do not stick together. Return as soon as one side is cooked.

4

Once cooked on both sides, remove the tiganites from the pan and put them on paper towels to remove excess oil.

5

Serve the tiganites with honey and cinnamon, or any other accompaniment according to your preferences!

You can now enjoy this greek version of the pancakes. Enjoy your dessert !
