  • 1 kg of pork cut into small pieces
  • 2 onions cut in small dices
  • 1 green pepper in strips
  • cone bell pepper
  • 1 red pepper in strips
  • 1 carrot in slices
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 70 ml ouzo
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • salt
  • pepper

Cut the meat into pieces.


In Greece this dish is prepared with pork neck, but you can use other pieces at your convenience.


Pour half of olive oil into a stove on high heat. Put onions, peppers, carrots and leave for 5 min. Then remove them and put them next to them.


In the same pan, pour the other olive oil and meat. Leave each side about 2-3 minutes. Pour the ouzo, and leave another 2-3 minutes.


Put the vegetables back in the pan and mix. Cook for 2 minutes.


If the meat is not ready, you can add in little water.


At the end, you have to stay with the olive oil.

When it is ready, remove from heat and serve with tomato salad and rice.
